If you’re not excited about Easter NOW, then nobody else is going to be, either. You can’t fake it till you make it, you’ve got to ask God to make it in your life before you stand in front of your people to ask them to join you with it. You see, if you begin to expect great things, then you’ll plan and prepare for great things.
Matthew 9:29, Jesus said, “According to your faith will it be done unto you.” You say, “God, I’m going to pray with faith, but my prayer is going to precede my faith, but as I pray, I’m going to ask you to expand my faith so that the prayer I pray matches what I feel and what I believe.”
The truth is, this can be the greatest Easter ever. The power of the Resurrection still reverberates.
Historically, In spite of all the competing draws on people’s time, energy and attention, the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ still possesses a tremendous spiritual draw.
People are most likely to come to church when they’re:
- Under tension
- In trouble
- Or in transition
Right now, there’s a lot of trouble going on. Right now, there’s a lot of tension in your community. Right now, there’s a lot of trouble, and there’s people going through transition in your community.
I want you to believe that this Easter will be the best Easter inside of your church.
That’s my prayer for you. I pray that not only would you pray for God to double your Easter, but you would become the person who’s excited about and ready for Easter! Allowing God to teach you, grow you, and stretch you, so that when this prayer is answered, you’re ready for what He’s going to do in your church.
