Tomorrow, Thursday, October 3rd, I will conclude my Church Growth Champions Tele-seminar series with an interview with Dr. Gary McIntosh exploring the life and ministry of Dr. Donald McGavran, the founder of the Church Growth Movement.
Most people don’t even know who Donald McGavran is, much less the church-impacting and ministry-improving ideas he developed (that are STILL relevant today).
Donald Anderson McGavran was one of the premier missiologists of the twentieth century, and was considered the father of the Church Growth Movement. He worked tirelessly for decades to advance the church’s worldwide mission.
McGavran spent most of his life trying to identify and overcome barriers to effective evangelism or Christian conversion. He identified differences of caste and economic social position as major barriers to the spread of Christianity.
His work substantially changed the methods by which missionaries identify and prioritize groups of persons for missionary work and stimulated the Church Growth Movement.
By registering today you will still get ALL recordings of the previous interviews PLUS receive two months FREE in my Renegade Pastors Network. You can join this interview (all you need is a phone line) for only $27.
These are Tele-Seminars so all you need is a telephone to participate! (note: long distance rates may apply)
Hope you will join me on the call tomorrow!
Your partner in ministry,
Nelson
