Literally, for the past 60 years he has been on the leading edge of a key spiritual paradigm shift guided by The Holy Spirit.

In the 1960s, Dr. Wagner was a missionary in South America.  Then in the 1970s, he was the recognized authority and theologian on the church growth movement.

In the ’80s as he taught at Forest Seminary and began to interact with John Wimber. He led him to a whole new phase of thinking that coined the phrase “The third wave” to describe this.

In the ’90s he became the leader of the New Apostolic Reformation. And then in the 2000s, what he refers to as his fourth career began to take shape.

We know him from his writing. I’ve lost count at somewhere over 70 books that he has produced. Some of my favorites are his early books on church growth which I can’t wait to talk to him about today.
