The Power of Vacation: Keeping Your Tank Full (Part 2)

In last week’s first part of this blog series, I started a conversation about vacation and shared a few strategies for taking some time off.

Here are the next two strategies you should consider when planning your next vacation:

  1. Prepare for your vacation to ensure it’s a true vacation. Nothing will frustrate you or your family more than if your vacation gets cut short or you’re unable to take it because of lack of preparation. Make sure that your church is covered for when you’re away.
  2. Make worship a center of your vacation. Whether or not you attend church when you’re on vacation — either is okay — make sure that you continue to pray with your family. Include regular devotional time with your family, so you can grow closer together spiritually and relationally.

Tune in next week for a few kinds of vacations to be aware of and one to beware of.
