It can be overwhelming — I have more information at my fingertips in the course of a day than say Martin Luther had over his entire lifetime! You don’t have enough time to take everything in. And the pace of change can be overwhelming.
The question becomes: how do you adapt to this ever-changing landscape? How do you lead and guide your church?
As the rate of change increases, so should your commitment to personal growth. Decide what you will spend your time on – and what you will NOT spend your time on. My challenge to you is to set some reading goals, and cut down the time you spend on Facebook and social media. Focus on your personal growth and also focus on having strong systems in your church to free you up to lead.
