Four Simple Reminders to Help You Follow up With Your Easter First-Time Guests

It’s hard to believe but Easter is only 5 Sundays away, coming up on Sunday, April 20th.

Easter Sunday has more potential to make a massive Kingdom impact through your church than any other single day of the year and I would like to help you make this Easter bigger than ever at your church. Preparing now and building a plan will give you the best chances of having your First-time Easter guests return. Following up with the newcomers is just as important as the message that you give on Easter Sunday.

Combine that with the fact that Easter is the most likely day of the year for unchurched people to attend your church, and Easter 2014 has tremendous potential to expand God’s Kingdom!

Here are a few tips to prepare ahead of time for first-time guests:The Maximizing Easter Seminar: 25 Practical, Easy to Implement, but Often Overlooked Ways to Double Your Easter Attendance

  1. Don’t wait until the last minute to try and prep
  2. Think through your Easter goals and follow-up activities in advance – set your attendance goal, how you will follow up with first-time guests and new believers, etc.
  3. Pre-write cards/letters/etc. for faster, more impactful follow-up
  4. Leave no detail unchecked on your Easter list – Brochures, traffic flow, etc.

Unfortunately, the path of least resistance is a tempting option for busy pastors and church leaders – and the cost is missed opportunity.

In spite of all the competing draws on people’s time, energy and attention, the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ still possesses a tremendous spiritual draw.

What if there were a handful of easy to implement (and proven!) ideas you could use that would double your Easter attendance and drastically increase the number of people who return and get plugged into your church? What if you set a goal and prayerfully asked God to double your attendance this Easter?

Since 2006, I have had the privilege of coaching over 2,000 pastors in my coaching networks to double their Easter impact – both in Easter Sunday attendance and through effective follow-up after the Big Day.

And during this time, I’ve developed a list of 25 proven and practical tools (that we’ve used at The Journey and I’ve seen work in all these alumni churches). I’ve gone through and broken down each tool so that you can easily implement them in your church. PLUS, you’ll receive sample documents and files that will help you see how we prepare at The Journey to maximize Easter!
