It is easier today than ever before to keep a single calendar that covers every aspect of your life. You don’t even have to be technologically savvy to make this happen. Here are a few tips for making your calendar work for you:
- Enter everything in your calendar right away. If you delay, you will forget.
- Check your calendar daily. Before you go to bed at night review the day, week, and month ahead so you won’t miss anything.
- Set reminders if you use a digital calendar. Those reminders are just one more way to make sure you stay on track.
- Make sure you schedule the important recurring personal events of your life. Be sure to reserve your daily quiet time, your weekly Sabbath, your date night with your spouse, and annual vacations.
Just think, with one calendar you will never again have to miss out on an event because you were committed during the same time slot to something else. This makes you look like a leader who has things under control.
