When someone checks on their connection card that they want to take that next step and become a follower of Jesus, on Monday we send this packet out. It includes six items: a printed letter from the campus pastor, a certificate that they can bring to the resource table for a free Bible, a copy of a DVD called What Does it Mean to Be a Christian?, a brochure on baptism, postcard on the upcoming sermon series and a book that I wrote called The Next Step For Your Journey. We also do email follow-up and some phone calls as well. It’s a six-month process.
