#DropTheRazor #NoShaveNovember
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, and the prognosis wasn’t pretty. But by God’s grace after a difficult battle, I’ve been cancer-free for almost four years.
Once again, I am participating in @noshave November. It reminds me to pray for those dealing with cancer; to prioritize my health; to talk about the need for more cancer research; and to encourage you in your health.
So, let me encourage you to talk to your doctor about cancer, know your family history, and get your colonoscopy if you are 45 and older (don’t put it off).
If you want to support cancer research:
Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center Univ of Miami, FL @SylvesterCancer #OnlySylvester
https://development.miami.edu/page.aspx?pid=749
(after traveling the country looking for solutions to my cancer, this is where I found the best help and where I had all my surgeries and treatment. 👍👍)
@NoShave website and donation page (can’t go wrong supporting any of these)
https://no-shave.org/donate/ (click “Foundations” to see who all they support)
And, of course, your local Cancer Treatment Center if there’s one near you – always good to support the home team. @AmericanCancer
Join me in praying for everyone involved in cancer research, prevention, treatment, etc plus let’s also diligently pray for healing for those with cancer (most likely, someone near and dear to you is fighting cancer now).
I started ‘no shave’ after church on Sunday and my beard grows fast – some growth now but if you are on pastor coaching zooms with me next week there should be some pretty good progress.
For more on my story/miracles, I recently shared a video testimony here:
