Dr. Gary McIntosh is a nationally and internationally known speaker, writer and professor. He is the author of 27 books on church ministry, most recently The Solo Pastor, plus over 300 articles dealing with church growth, leadership and pastoral ministry. Dr. McIntosh is a distinguished Professor of Christian Ministry and Leadership at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University.

He’s the recipient of the Donald A. McGavran Award, as well as Nelson Searcy's Renegade Pastors Icon Award to acknowledge Excellence in Abandoning Average in Life and Ministry. Over his ministry career, Gary has trained and mentored thousands of pastors and ministry leaders. He is best known for his love for pastors, expertise in church growth, and practical ministry resources.

Gary and his wife, Carol, reside in Temecula, CA. They have been married 55 years, and have two adult children, eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
