In case you missed it, this week I’m celebrating our recent Beach Baptisms at The Journey by giving you some tools to help you Baptize more people in your church.
Today I want to tell you about a POWERFUL (and underused) technique to challenge and motivate more people to be baptized…
THE BAPTISM VIDEO!
There’s nothing like seeing people experiencing the joy of being baptized to encourage others to sign up for Baptism. Not to mention how showing these videos will energize your church.
Below is a recent Baptism video from The Journey (our February baptism in South Florida).
This is the same video we used in our service to inspire and motivate others:
Let me give you three ideas about how you can use your own Baptism video:
- Show the Baptism video during the service, the week after celebrating Baptism – to continue to celebrate.
- Show the Baptism video during a Sunday sermon as an illustration of taking a step of obedience.
- Share a copy of the video with each person who was baptized, as a reminder of their special day.
Here’s to baptizing more people this fall than ever before!
P.S. THIS WEEK ONLY – I’m giving away a FREE Download that’s much quicker to implement in your Baptism system – my simple, personal follow up email that goes out to each person who was baptized at your church.
This Baptism “Congratulations Email” will help your people recognize the importance of their obedience in baptism and let them know you’re praying for them as they navigate the journey of discipleship.
Don’t miss out – here’s the link to Download Yours Today:
This simple email will help you follow up with each person who is baptized at your church with next steps and encouragement, plus it will help you raise the value of Baptism in your church.

P.P.S. In conjunction with this free download, I’m leading a BRAND NEW series of FREE Webinars next week, called “The 7 Ways to Increase Your Baptisms.”
You can register for one of those webinars when you download the email.
Nothing raises the value ofbaptism and the overall evangelistic temperature of your church like baptism!
